Midamar Halal Meatballs with Spicy Tomato Sauce

Ingredients:

• 2.5 pounds of Midamar Halal Meatballs
• 3 - 8 oz cans of tomato sauce
• 2 cups of chili sauce
• 3 tablespoon brown sugar
• 3 tablespoons of lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Open a 5 lb bag of Midamar Halal Meatballs. Put half the contents onto a baking pan and spread so that each meatball touches the bottom of the pan.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, turning once after 10 minutes.
  4. In a slow cooker or large saucepan over low heat, blend the tomato sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar, and lemon juice. Add meatballs, and simmer for 1 hour before serving.
  5. Delicious on their own, in a bun or on top of pasta. Add shredded mozzarella cheese.
