Coming at ya with something quick and easy, and only slightly good for you! This sandwich is a sort of cross between a BLT and an adult grilled cheese. I personally like avocado on sandwiches, and the sweet and tangy glaze on the broiled turkey strips adds a nice, subtle hit of flavor. That said, if you’re not into mustard you could leave the mustard out of the glaze, or you can veto the glaze!

Ingredients:
5 strips of Midamar Turkey Strips, cut in half
2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
2 Tbsp Mustard
Wheat bread
Sliced Avocado
Sliced Roma Tomato
Butter
3 oz Mozzarella
Instructions:
1) In a mixing bowl combine maple syrup and mustard and whisk until thoroughly combined.
2) Place turkey strips on an aluminum foil wrapped cookie sheet. Using a basting brush, paint each side of the turkey strips with the glaze and place in oven and broil for 2 – 5 minutes per side, depending on desired crispness.
3) Butter one side of 2 slices of bread. On the un-buttered side place: half of the cheese, avocado, tomato, glazed turkey strips, last half of cheese, and top with other slice of bread.
4) Place in a pan over medium heat and cover, let cook for 2 – 3 minutes, flipping as necessary. Sandwich is finished once cheese has melted
