Freezer Ready Breakfast Burritos: A Quick Breakfast Game-Changer

For a lot of people, myself included, breakfast can be a tough meal to fit into the morning schedule, so a good make-ahead Breakfast Burrito is always appreciated! These are a great option for getting all your breakfast favorites like egg, cheese, and Halal beef bacon and sausage links; they can be made ahead, stored in the freezer, and heated up in no time for a hot and melty breakfast before you head out for the day.

Full Of Breakfast Favorites

Getting right into it, we kept our burritos simple with breakfast favorites like I mentioned up top, but this is a great recipe to make how you like. Pack your favorite veggies, salsa, guacamole, whatever you want in here so you can start the day with your favorites.

For ours we went with a mix of onion, bell pepper, scrambled eggs, shredded cheese, a wombo-combo of beef bacon and sausage, and frozen hashbrowns. All this cooks in the same pan, so it’s a great way to save on dishes, and you can prepare these in no time on a Sunday afternoon in preparation to have throughout the week, or anytime you just want a quick and tasty homemade snack to heat up!

One Pan Flavor Infusion

The cook time is super simple. Fry up the diced veggies, then the sausage and bacon, drain most of the drippings from the pan and scramble the eggs in the same pan. All of this gets wrapped together so you’ll be getting all these tasty ingredients together but getting that flavor extravaganza started early and infusing all these flavors in the pan is a game changer.

As much as I love something sweet, I always go for a savory breakfast, so the combination of the veggies with the egg, cheese, and sausage was a real winner. And what’s not to love about all of these wrapped up in a tortilla and toasted when it’s done?

Dig In Now Or Store For Later

When they’re all done, wrap them tight in some parchment paper and store them in a freezer bag and you’re good to enjoy when the craving strikes. These can microwave in the parchment paper, which will also help get them heated through as they steam inside the paper.

This is the perfect recipe to add your own breakfast or burrito favorites to, so let us know what you did to make this your own. What’re your favorite flavors to start the day? We can wait to hear it, and we can’t wait for you to give these a try, we think you’ll find a lot to like here. Enjoy!
