What’s up everybody, this week I decided that I’d like to try glazing. And what better way to learn to do that with our chicken nuggets? I personally like my food a little spicier but this time I decided to go a little light on the heat by skipping the red pepper flakes, but they’d fit well with this glaze. The sauce is a quick and easy way to diversify your weekend lunch, I’ve also found that these are great on salads. All you have to do is cut the nuggets into small bite sized pieces, then dredge in the sauce and bake until golden brown. This is definitely going to become a regular lunch for me here at the office, and it’s easy to make!
Ingredients:
Midamar Halal Chicken Breast Nuggets
4 Tbsp butter
1/3 cup of honey
2/3 cup brown sugar
¼ cup of spicy mustard
1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp garlic powder
¼ Tbsp crushed red pepper flake (optional)
Instructions:
1) Bake Midamar Chicken Nuggets as instructed on package
2) Melt butter over medium high heat. Add all other ingredients and whisk to combine.
3) Divide sauce into two bowls and dredge your nuggets in the sauce. Drain excess and place on the same baking sheet and bake until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Alternatively, you could use 1 bowl like I did if you want to save on dishwashing.
4) Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
