The Ultimate All-In-One Breakfast Hash Sandwich

The Ultimate All-In-One Breakfast Hash Sandwich

Wakey wakey, it’s time for deliciously convenient and Halal Breakfast Hash Sandwiches! They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so get the day started right with all your favorite breakfast classics like Halal sausage, Halal bacon, hashbrowns, and eggs on a sweet and fluffy homemade waffle. Or, make this over the weekend and have a convenient and filling breakfast ready to heat throughout the week with this versatile all-in-one recipe.

There isn’t much to worry about before you dive in to make this hash. We couldn’t decide between sausage or Halal bacon for our hash, so we went with both and squeezed the sausage out of the casing and cooked it like ground beef then got some beef strips nice and crispy.

But you can’t have a good hash without great veggies so we used a blend of diced green bell pepper for freshness and sliced onion because sauteed onion is a savory favorite that we can’t do without. To keep it simple we used some Sno Pac Southern style hashbrowns for a tasty and hearty carb to give you energy throughout the morning, and because these come frozen, you won’t need to worry about preparing potatoes for this recipe, just get them heated through.

This veggie blend with the meat mix is a powerful combination, and to round out that savory hash flavor, we stuck with the classic seasoning like onion powder, salt, and pepper. This is a classic combination, but if you’re in the mood to experiment with a different seasoning, give it a try here. I’d bet your favorite savory seasoning would be pretty dang good in a hash like this. Lay this out on a baking sheet to bake, get crispy and golden brown, and you’re all set.

If you want to enjoy the hash here, I say toss an over easy egg in there and dive in, but we wanted to add a little sweetness and have a little fun with this one so we made our own homemade waffles too to make this into breakfast sandwiches. You can always use a premade mix, but fresher is always better and the waffles in this recipe are no exception. They’re sweet, light, fluffy, and the perfect complement to the savory hash for a breakfast sandwich that’s full of great flavor.

That’s it for this weeks recipe(s)! We hope you enjoy both together but if you’re here for the hash then there’s plenty to enjoy. Like I said up top, this is a great recipe to make ahead of time, heat it up later and mix in a fresh cooked egg, or if you like scrambled egg more, make that at the start too and toss it in with everything else. It’s all you need to start the day on the right foot with a tasty breakfast to keep you going throughout the day.
